Rules and Regulations


1. Timings (for teachers)     7:25 A.M. to 2:30 P.M.

2. Timings (for students)     7:45 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.

3. Uniform:       White Shirt, Grey Trouser, Black Shoes, Navy Blue Blazer, School Tie and School Badge.

4. Fee:     School fees and the regulations of payment are indicated on the fee-cards issued to the student annually by the office. The rate of fee is same for all the classes and is subject to change depending on the increase of salaries and the cost of living.

N.B. fees should be paid on or before the 10th of each month, failing which a fine of Rs. 2.00 per day will be charged.
1. Students who have not paid the fees for two months will be dismissed.
2. The school fee will be charged for twelve months.
3. In June, fees will be charged for June and July and in September for August and September.

5. Punctuality:    Punctuality is a “SINE QUA NON” (an indispensable condition) for every pupil. The school gates are closed for late comers unless they have a very exceptional reason.

6. Admission:     Punctual attendance is expected of all students. Leave of absence will be given only after a written application has been made by a responsible person. If a pupil is absent due to illness or for any reason, a note from his parents/guardians verifying the facts must be given.
“PUPILS WHO REMAIN ABSENT WITHOUT LEAVE FOR SIX CONSECUTIVE DAYS SHALL BE STRUCK OFF THE ROLLS”, Code, Act73 (g).
The students whose names are struck from the rolls may be re-admitted only if there is a vacancy and on a fresh admission basis.

7. Holidays:     Saturday,Sunday, Summer Vacations, winter Vocations, Eid Holidays and Gazetted Holidays

8. Use of Mobile:     Use of mobile by students is strictly prohibited in school.

9. Visit of Parents:     Parents are very much encouraged to meet Principal, Administration and the class teacher to discuss problems arising in the school and to inquire about the progress of their children. Prior appointment is necessary if a parent wants to meet the teacher and this meeting has to be done in the office. Parents are strictly forbidden to enter the classrooms during class hours. Visitors are allowed to enter the premises only with a specific purpose and this can be done only during the first and the last hours of school time. The general discipline of the school does not permit any such visitor to loiter on the premises.

10. Short Leaves:     The students are expected to obtain written permission from the office if they need to leave school before the closing time. Permission will be granted only for plausible reasons. Such short leaves are generally discouraged.

11. Discipline:

1). Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, disobedience, serious misbehavior, objectionable influence, disorderly and unseemly conduct will lead to an automatic dismissal of the student. The Principal has the right to dismiss the students.

2). Any kind of damage done to the school premises or equipment will have to be paid for.

3). Pupils are not allowed to bring into the school any book, magazine, pictures or any other articles expect those required in the school.

4). The school does not hold itself responsible for accident to pupil outside the school hours.

5). The school is in no way responsible for any losses incurred by pupils whilst in school.

6). No one account should pupils borrow or lend money.

7). No pupil is allowed to take part in the organization or conduct of any public meeting of any kind or be a member of any other social organization or appear for any public examination without the permission of the Principal.

8). Pupils suffering from contagious or infectious diseases shall not be permitted to attend the school.

9). Discipline is very carefully inculated attribute of a student. One who possesses good discipline is extolled in many ways. Thus discipline is expected of every student in the school and those pupils who learn this praise-worthy attribute will be specially decorated. Discipline must be inculcated by appealing more to the sense of responsibility of the child than having resources to fear and punishment.

10). Vigilance in studies, full attendance and punctuality are active signs of a very keen and disciplined pupil. Good behavior and a positive effort to be of active service to others are also essential elements for the maintenance of good discipline. Understandably, the principal expected the parents, who are the prime movers of their children to instill in them the need for discipline in their life.

12. Misbehavior or Cheating:     Any misbehavior or attempt to copy in the tests, or even suspected attempts will lead to an immediate dismissal from the school without any further inquiry.
